job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings as required. Document incidents and daily activities clearly and accurately according to Allied Universal and client standards. Support the overall security-related operations of the location by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with site-specific tasks as directed by management. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Charlestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and supporting a positive atmosphere. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
