Overview

KMSP-Fox 9 News in Minneapolis is looking for an energetic and proactive morning show producer to showcase their writing and presentation skills. Our morning show team strives to keep our viewers informed on what is happening here and beyond, as well an emphasis on weather, traffic and talkbacks with newsmakers. We also stream all of our newscasts on our Fox Local App and other platforms, so your ability to really make an impact has no limits.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging rundown with local stories that matter to our community and continue to upgrade content as the morning progresses.
• Use the studio as your playground, looking for creative ways to use monitors, animations and anchor locations.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in all scripts.
• Clearly communicate video needs to editors.
• Clearly communicate with the show\'s director on your vision for the newscast.
• Clearly communicate cues to anchors, meteorologists and field crews.
• Utilize your strong writing skills to craft unique content for our digital and linear stream.
• Help us to reach and engage users on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat and the next platforms that emerge.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-68,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
