The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of educational and enrichment programming for our active older adults within our residential living by programming trips, cultural outings, concerts, lectures, etc. This is a full time salaried / exempt position, up to $56,000 / year.

Life Enrichment Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Collaborates with area organizations to expand wellness services.
  • Provides ongoing programs such as lectures, trips, concerts, and other programs based on the residents’ interests.
  • Coordinates and schedules at least one special event per quarter attracting the greater Honey Brook Community.
  • Coordinates with tour companies to provide a variety of trips, including day and overnight trips, for the enjoyment of the majority of the residents.
  • Develops and publishes resident newsletter and monthly calendar of events.
  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the use of space and equipment for areas used by Residential Living residents.
  • Manages and coordinates recreational programming, fulfilling and promoting a high level of functional independence.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college / university, or equivalent five years’ experience in a retirement community setting. Prefer degrees in Gerontology, or Recreation Management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be creative, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to attend day and overnight trips.
  • Must be flexible with the schedule to include evening hours as needed.
