You’ll be instrumental in keeping things running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable web, mobile, and data handling servicesusing Go and Python
• Utilize your expertise in database technologies, including MySQL, Redshift, Athena and S3, to architect and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
• Ability to help contribute on the front-end when needed
• Lead and mentor other engineers, providing guidance on best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in web development, and actively contribute to the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team.
• Use LLM / AI tools to ramp up on codebases, complete boilerplate tasks, and assist with code completions.
• Be self-driven. You need to be comfortable reaching out to cross-functional team members to find the information you need to complete tasks.

Compensation Range  Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $120,000 / year up to $140,000 / year. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.Ziff Davis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
