Job Description
The Office of Aeronautics is looking for a dedicated Navigation Systems - Radio Engineer 1 to help manage and maintain critical weather observation and navigational broadcast systems that play a key role in aviation safety throughout the state.
We oversee 80 Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS) and various navigational broadcast stations at 133 public airports, many airports are equipped with stations that transmit and receive air band signals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge aviation technology and collaborate with the FAA, local governments, and fellow professionals in the field!
Key Responsibilities :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of recent advanced technical working experience (within the last four years) supporting a regional or large-scale radio communications system which includes the installation, repair, and implementation of a variety of radio communication equipment; AND
Salary : $64,957.00 / yr - $96,006.00 / yr
