A day in the life of an Auto Theft & Fire Adjuster, and what it takes to do the job!

The Auto Theft and Fire Adjuster is responsible for investigating automotive theft and fire claims, including total loss settlements. They are responsible for explaining coverage, claims, settlement, and rental processes to agents and / or customers. They work independently, prioritizing responsibilities, and managing their own workload. A Theft and Fire Adjuster is responsible for interviewing involved parties, delivering compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention, and maintaining customer satisfaction during the entire claim process.

Under limited supervision, the Auto Theft and Fire Adjuster is responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling moderately complex theft claims. This individual is responsible for interviewing involved parties, delivering compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention, and maintaining customer satisfaction during the entire claim process. The preferred skillset is as follows :

• Previous experience in total loss adjustment or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and valuation tools for virtual assessments.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate moderate to complex vehicle damages effectively.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.

You’ll wear a few hats to fill a few roles throughout your day that all require a level of experience.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $50,000.00 - 82,542.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
