Job Description Summary : The Ecotoxicology and Risk Assessment Laboratory at the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences of Auburn University has an open postdoctoral position in environmental chemistry and toxicology. The Lab has several ongoing research projects on pesticides, PFAS, and microplastics that need support of chemical analysis. In addition, opportunities to engage in education, outreach, and services are also available. Candidates with a PhD in chemistry or environmental toxicology that have experience in environmental and analytical chemistry, especially organic chemistry, are encouraged to apply. The analytical instrumentation the Lab has includes an ICP-MS, an LC-MS / MS, a FTIR-Microscope, an IC, and a TOC analyzer. The candidate must be eligible to work in the USA and is expected to work with graduate students that need chemical analysis support.
