Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 16-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and GA or Compact license in hand at time of consideration.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Assignment is in an interventional radiology unit with possible floating to cath lab and electrophysiology units as needed
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with one variable day off
  • Weekend schedule consists of call only, with one weekday call per week and one weekend of call every six weeks
  • Floating within facility and scope of practice may be required to related procedural units
  • Patient population and case types are typical for interventional radiology, cath lab, and EP procedures
  • Expected to work available holidays during assignment; specific holiday coverage is determined by the number of holidays during the assignment period
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 full year before returning as traveler
  • Modules are required during orientation and must be completed as assigned
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift and unit
  • Clinical screen is required for fit prior to management review
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed, not available during first week of assignment

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology or related setting
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Current GA or Compact license in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
  • Two supervisory references are highly preferred; must be from manager or above
  • Must be able to submit all compliance documentation and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract acceptance
