Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients

Maintain productivity goals while documenting account actions and issues in the patient accounting system

Assist with special projects and communicate findings while ensuring compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Ability to learn hospital systems quickly

Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
