Job Summary :
The primary responsibility of R.D Offutt Farms Seasonal Tractor Operator is to drive tractor to accomplish daily and weekly tasks for field production. This individual has the ability to work well independently with little guidance as well as work in a team environment.

Specific Duties Include :
Perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on equipmentFollow tasks and directions given by crew leaderCommunicate effectively with management and other team membersAssist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate conditionFollow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbookConduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt FarmsProactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill setMaintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer servicePerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient mannerJob Requirements :
Experience operating heavy machinery, tractor, or other farm equipment preferredMust have reliable transportation to and from workWillingness to work outsideAbility to meet physical requirements of the positions with or without accommodationWalk on uneven ground at the farm locationsMust be able to work overtime during harvest season or as the need arisesStrong communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environmentCandidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorshipEqual Opportunity Employer
