About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of professional experience required

License : Current California Physical Therapy Assistant License

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

  • Driver's License
  • Auto Insurance
  • Auto Registration
  • TB test (annual)
  • MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within the past 10 years), Flu shot (annual)
  • Drug screen
  • Physical examination

Job Description :

  • Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably with home health experience.
  • Provide therapy services within designated areas, accommodating two operational regions.
  • If selected for the guaranteed hours option, maintain a productivity level of at least 30 points per week, with 36 hours guaranteed.
  • Willingness to travel outside designated areas or work weekends if needed to meet weekly goals.
  • Commitment to treating all patients, including Covid+ and Covid PUI patients, is required if in the non-guaranteed hours role.
  • Payment and hours approval based on a per-visit basis. A routine visit equates to one point, which is equivalent to 1.33 hours.
  • Compensation is all-inclusive; covering driving, documentation, calls to patients and doctors, and the actual visit.
  • Ensure compliance with submission protocols; all requested time off must be shared during the submission process.
  • Participation in holiday coverage is required.
