Scope of Responsibilities

  • Technical troubleshooting across diverse modalities, technologies, and facility areas in a validated, cGMP setting.
  • Execution and optimization of preventive maintenance for high-volume processing assets; recommend Lean and 5S improvements based on PM effectiveness reviews.
  • Reliability-focused tasks including predictive maintenance, equipment installations, and building systems upkeep.
  • Electrical maintenance : install / repair wiring and fixtures; maintain facility lighting.
  • General facility maintenance : landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
  • Safety leadership : complete daily / weekly / quarterly / semi-annual inspections; document work to GMP standards; follow LOTO, SDS, and environmental waste / disposal requirements.
  • Production support : complete shift assignments; respond to off-shift calls as needed; support after-hours emergency response when required.
  • Asset and parts stewardship : maintain shop tools, spare parts program, and CMMS data integrity; repair or escalate per supervisor direction.
  • Compliance and training : follow work instructions, policies, and procedures; engage in OJT and demonstrate role proficiency.

Physical Demands : Depending on operating modality (e.g., Gamma), the job is physically intensive and requires strength and endurance.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours : 6 : 00 a.m.–6 : 00 p.m. Monday–Wednesday; 6 : 00 a.m.–12 : 00 p.m. Thursday.
  • Hourly rate : $28–$31, commensurate with qualifications.
  • Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Blueprint and schematic literacy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; clear written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently within broad guidelines.
  • PC proficiency : word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendar, virtual platforms, CMMS and related software.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Organization / analysis aptitude and Level 2 math (ratios, basic algebra) to evaluate customer / regulatory issues and craft corrective actions.
  • Experience with PLCs.
  • Adaptability; performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Normal hearing to detect alarms, bells, horns.
  • Support for Lean and 5S culture.
