Process Tech

Process Technician – Level 3 to operate, set up, and troubleshoot large-scale plastic injection molding presses. This role offers opportunities to develop technical expertise and work across multiple areas, including mold changes, color changes, hot stamp equipment, and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation : Start up and shut down plastic injection molding equipment; perform routine operations.
• Mold Handling : Install and remove injection molds and dies; assist with mold setup and adjustments.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve mold defects (e.g., splay, short shots); communicate equipment issues to maintenance; work with robots, hot stamping, and other tooling.
• Process Support : Assist with color changes, crane operation, hopper cleaning, moisture checks, and dryer setups as needed.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance processes and equipment efficiency.
• Team Collaboration : Provide support across all shifts and levels as required.
• Requirements :
• High School diploma / GED
• Process Tech levels 1-3 experience
