Pacific Realty Associates, L.P. ("PacTrust") is seeking a design professional in an architectural related industry to provide in-house Design Development, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration primarily for tenant improvement work. As one of the Pacific Northwest's largest real estate developers and investment property owners, PacTrust has been a trusted name in commercial real estate for over 50 years. PacTrust owns approximately 14 million square feet of office; industrial; flex; and retail properties. While a large percentage of the properties are in Oregon & Washington, we also have an asset base in California, Texas, and Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Development of design, production of construction documents and specifications for tenant improvement projects within existing portfolio of assets.
  • Assist, establish and coordinate programming with the tenant, outside consultants and in-house disciplines by performing work that requires independent judgment, evaluation, selection and modification to existing and evolving tenant improvement standards within a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 15 years of experience.
  • Architecture license in Oregon and Washington
  • AutoCAD & Revit proficiency.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and PDF editing software such as Bluebeam, Photoshop, and InDesign capabilities are beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and manage design development, construction documents, contract administration, and interaction with jurisdictional authorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate well with clients, consultants, jurisdictional authorities, and co-workers.
  • Strong understanding of design and construction fundamentals, as well as project documentation, details, materials / products, building structures / operating systems, and sustainable building practices.
