We are seeking an Associate Attorney (2-4 Years Family Law Experience) to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.

Who We Are :   Small (3 Attorneys) but busy general practice firm located in Elizabeth, Colorado.  Our firm has grown every year for the past nine years and we continue to grow.  We are seeking an associate attorney with at least 2-4 years recent experience in family law where the right candidate will eventually take over that section of practice.  Experience with wills and trusts would be a plus as well, but not required.

Casual Environment :  We offer a jeans and tennis shoes type environment which puts our clients at ease. However, we do wear suits to court. : -) We offer an open-office collaborative environment (no closed offices) that requires a good personality, some tolerance for distractions, and someone who is able to work well within a team and accept and offer direction. We do not adhere to a lot of the old uptight and stuffy legal industry traditions and standards. We are a closeknit group looking to add another family member.

Work from home is not an option :   We do not permit our staff to work from home. If you are seeking a work-from-home assignment, please do not apply.

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
