  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026)\n

  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680\n
  • Unit Details : 17-bed unit (10 currently open), patient ratio 1 : 4\n
  • Support Staff : PCA and Charge RN support, phlebotomy available\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in telemetry or stepdown units\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
  • Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide available)\n
  • Preferred : Experience with cardiac, respiratory, renal, stroke / TIA, and post-op patients\n

    • \n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes\n
  • Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, insulin)\n
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry waveforms; sign telemetry strips\n
  • Care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, wound vacs, and multiple drains\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and serve as a patient advocate\n
  • Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process\n
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies\n
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols\n
