Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Title : Locum Physician - OB / GYN Join a thriving healthcare community in Grass Valley, California! This opportunity is set in a hospital featuring a dedicated Family Birthing Center with its own operating room for C-sections. Job Responsibilities : Conduct deliveries, averaging 23-30 per month. Perform C-sections and handle emergency department call coverage for OB / GYN-related issues. Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records documentation. Collaborate with support staff, including anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and pediatric specialists. Participate in training and orientation as needed. Manage call duties, including on-call for obstetrics and gynecology. Qualifications : Current certification or active participation in the examination process for obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board. Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Demonstrated performance of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past two years. Proficiency in standard OB / GYN procedures. License and Certification Requirements : Board Certified in OB / GYN or Board Eligible within the last 5 years (REQUIRED).
