Overview

Crown is a global leader in planning and implementing advanced air mobility (AAM) services, with a focus on urban air mobility (UAM). We bring decades of experience in developing strategy, exploring concepts, assessing technologies, developing use cases, and projecting economic impacts for NASA, FAA, the Canadian government, and state and city departments of transportation. Crown is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join our team and contribute to major telecom projects nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various telecommunications systems, including telephone networks, data systems, and radio equipment.
  • Work within fast-paced and dynamic environments to ensure reliable telecommunications infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of network infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other personnel, departments, or companies
  • Able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
  • Capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs
  • Telecommunications equipment wiring, installation, and testing
  • Excavation equipment operation
  • In-building structured cabling installation
  • Underground and structure-mounted conduit and cabling installation
  • Fiber optic cabling installation and testing
  • Ability to pass public trust and driving background checks, along with a valid driver\'s license
  • The job is 100% field and remote nationwide, with per diem and travel covered. Must have good credit to be reimbursed for travel costs weekly.
  • FAA experience preferred, but not required
