  • Monday : 8am - 5pm (Lunch : 1pm-2pm)
  • Tuesday : 8am - 7pm (Lunch : 1pm-2pm)
  • Wednesday : 8am - 2pm (No lunch)
  • Thursday : 8am - 7pm (Lunch : 1pm-2pm)
  • Friday : 8am - 2pm (No lunch)
  • No weekends!
  • Work Environment :
  • Onsite, 5 days per week
  • Work alongside another Patient Service Specialist

  • Top Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience and professional work experience (retail, hospitality, healthcare, or recent college graduates with a 4-year degree welcome)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, especially for handling conversations with patients who may be upset
  • Ability to navigate desktop computers, use Microsoft Office software, and operate a traditional office phone
  • Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next steps at check-out
  • Schedule patient appointments in person and over the phone
  • Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team
  • Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
  • Prepare patient intake forms prior to appointments to ensure timely service
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed
  • Counsel patients regarding their financial responsibility at the time of service
  • Achieve quality assurance goals and adhere to established payment controls
  • Effectively communicate with all contacts to resolve issues and solve problems
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

  • The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
