Assignment Length : 14 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 21, 2026 Shift : 12-hour nights Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880 - $2020 Employment Type : Travel nursing job On-Site Position Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (any trauma level) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington nursing license preferred Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC Strong IV skills and ventilator management experience (training available) Ability to float to other off-campus emergency departments Excellent communication and customer service skills Telemetry competency (must be completed and passed prior to start) Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver emergency nursing care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Manage patient ratios of 1 : 4 in the main ED and up to 1 : 6 in fast track settings Provide care for trauma, cardiac, neuro, GI, respiratory, psychiatric, and walk-in patients Perform advanced nursing skills : medication administration, chest tubes, central lines, ventilator / BiPAP management Participate in charge nurse duties as needed (training provided) Collaborate with LPNs, phlebotomy, and other healthcare professionals Document care using EPIC charting system; utilize Alaris and Pyxis equipment Float to other off-campus emergency departments as required Participate in orientation and ongoing training, including an 8-hour respiratory class Why Choose Tacoma for Your Next Nursing Job?
