Position Highlights & Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive women's health services, including office consultations, deliveries, and both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
  • Deliver compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care while promoting health.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through a commitment to ethical principles and sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
  • Utilize systems-based practice by being aware of and responsive to the broader healthcare system to provide optimal care.
  • Maintain regular office hours during the week, with primary and backup call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees as required.
  • Contribute to departmental recruitment efforts.
  • Engage with the community to promote Southwest Medical and Optum.
  • Enjoy a Monday-Friday office schedule, with no clinic obligations on call days.
  • Hospital call is off-site and shared equally among colleagues.
  • Engage in a full-scope GYN practice with opportunities for major and minor procedure days.
  • Access to a network of GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU physicians.
  • Participate in collegial group meetings scheduled monthly.

Qualifications :

  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of an Obstetrics / Gynecology residency program.
  • A valid medical license in Nevada or the ability to obtain it prior to employment.
  • DEA license or the ability to acquire it before starting.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills are essential.
  • Compensation : The salary for this position ranges from $278,500 to $484,500 annually for full-time employment. Compensation may vary based on experience and metrics achieved. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
