The role of the Business Development Consultant is to develop business opportunities for AH and AHCC BHS within an assigned portfolio of municipalities, government, and / or business accounts within the Central Florida community. In this role, special projects will also be assigned to respond to the dynamic market. This includes maintaining and growing existing contracts established with the employer as well as identifying new opportunities to grow service offerings for the client. Thorough health care knowledge of the customer are essential to maximizing the benefits that AH could potentially offer.
Responsible for generating a minimum of $150,000 (or assigned annual goal) in annual revenue for an assigned employer base.
Adheres to Advent Health Corporate Compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Develops and updates an annual sales / marketing plan for the territory, including weekly status of the sales pipeline.
Maintains outstanding customer retention services for existing client base and work comp carriers.
Demonstrates effective consultative sales skills resulting in a solutions-oriented sales approach.
Markets urgent care services to corporate clients and key community organizations.
Participates actively in 1-2 community organizations relevant to the role.
Engages in professional development with the director.
