Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to orders in the system. This role involves loading and unloading trucks and sea containers, organizing incoming stock, and ensuring all orders are shipped in full. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials safely and efficiently within warehouse and production settings.

Responsibilities :

• Load merchandise into delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Handle fragile merchandise with care.
• Track and document exact shipment quantities, conditions, and arrival and departure times.
• Report any missing or extra merchandise.
• Prepare all orders for shipment and transfers.
• Record and manage all hold, aged, damaged merchandise items.
• Operate merchandise management tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Enter data into inventory and logistics software programs.

Work Environment :

The role requires working in conditions that may involve lifting heavy items and operating in freezer temperatures ranging from 40 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

All shifts are open, non rotating

Location : San Antonio, TX

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $17.00 / hr.
