Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care and hospital background for a travel assignment in California with floating expectations.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based case management setting

Day shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, five days per week

Assignment includes potential floating to affiliated facilities within California

Patient population includes acute care patients requiring complex case management

Uses Epic EMR with prior experience required

Assignment is 13 weeks in length

Perform comprehensive case management for acute care patients across multiple hospital locations as needed

Expected to float between all associated facilities within California

Pre-assignment online modules required, averaging 16 hours, with completion recorded prior to start

Returning travelers must have a 3-month gap from prior employment as permanent staff

Local candidates are considered at a lower rate and must reside outside a 50-mile radius

First time travelers are accepted for this assignment

Requirements Active CA RN license required

Minimum of 2 years recent acute care, hospital-based experience in case management

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable case management setting

Must not have been employed as permanent staff within the past 3 months and must live more than 50 miles from the facility for travel consideration

All requested time off must be submitted up front

Must be able to work 3 out of 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
