Role Description :

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to join our growing team in Texas.

This role focuses on providing technical and design consulting services for instrumentation, control systems, and network infrastructure within the municipal water and wastewater industry. As an I&C Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to support various aspects of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities.

Role Accountabilities :

• Work in a collaborative environment to evaluate and design control systems that meet client needs
• Prepare technical documents, including SCADA system architectures, communications system and network designs, Process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Control schematics, Panel layouts and other design documents
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical) for seamless project execution
• Provide engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment and software submittals, addressing contractor RFIs, and ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Conduct field inspections and oversee construction activities
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and manage QA / QC processes and participate in factory testing, site acceptance testing, project startup assistance

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $86,496 - $142,718. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
