AB Staffing is looking for experienced Licensed School Social Workers that are available for the 25 / 26 school year.

School Social Workers Needed in Oak Forrest, IL :

Contract through the school year
Contract follows the academic district calendar – 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
Caseload and details of position / classroom type will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset

Essential Functions :

Provide individual and group counseling to students.

Support students with IEPs and contribute to IEP meetings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration.

Address issues such as attendance, behavior, and crisis intervention.

Serve as a liaison between the school and community resources.

School Social Worker Essential Job Functions :

Help students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Assist students through early identification, prevention, intervention, counseling, and support.

Develop and teach intervention strategies to help students achieve academic goals.

Work with family members and other individuals in child’s life to help support their development, learning, and adjustment.

Qualifications :

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred.

Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement.

Experience in a school setting preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay :

$1,950 - $2,175 per week.
