Scope of Position

As a full-time IT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the daily IT operations of a growing business. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work across a range of technologies including workstation setup, systems administration, networking, and cloud services. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and our external IT service provider to ensure smooth and secure IT operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their career—either currently pursuing a degree and available for full-time work, or recently graduated with relevant experience—who is eager to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Note : This role requires regular travel between company facilities in Arizona, and may include locations in other states, to provide on-site support, maintenance, and project implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure workstations, peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.), and user accounts.
  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Support networking tasks including IP configuration, printer sharing, and basic switch / router management.
  • Assist with cloud and on-premise system administration, including patching, updates, and backups.
  • Coordinate with external IT partners for system upgrades, maintenance, and escalated support.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Apply best practices for data privacy, cybersecurity, and network hygiene.
  • Participate in onboarding and orientation for new employees regarding IT tools and systems.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base development.

Required Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (minimum 2-year degree or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in IT systems, support, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services (Azure, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Familiarity with on-premise server environments and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, firewalls, etc.).
  • Exposure to cloud migration projects or hybrid infrastructure.
  • Experience with FreshDesk or other help desk or ticketing systems.
  • Pursuing or holding certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals, or similar.
