Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care

Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercises

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with facility policies

Utilize assistive technology and alternative communication methods when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

Education : Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

License : Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology License (Must be submitted with application)

Certifications : ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience : Minimum 1+ year of SLP experience (Travel experience preferred)

EMR Experience : Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus
