Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of organizational training programs / initiatives that equip clinical staff with the knowledge, skills and resources to deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Manage a team of trainers, drive program effectiveness, align training strategies with business goals, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership in assessing training methods, content, and deployment; propose improvements aligned to the company's business model and growth.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to understand training needs and gaps; propose solution-centered ideas to the Training department's leadership.
  • Identify and apply training and design strategies to achieve performance goals and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure training programs are standard, scalable, and adaptable to changing business needs; monitor budget and resource allocation.
  • Lead and develop a team of training professionals (e.g., field trainers and instructional designers).

Training Development & Deployment

  • Design, deliver, and execute training programs for continuous improvement in collaboration with the Head of Training & Director of Training.
  • Provide feedback on training quality, adoption, effectiveness and results in driving outstanding patient care.
  • Direct the use of technology platforms, learning management systems, and e-learning tools.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with HIPAA, QUADA, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison between training teams and clinic / department leaders to align programs with operational needs / priorities.
  • Promote adoption of learning technologies and modern instructional practices; champion a culture of continuous learning.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, coaching, and performance management of trainers across clinical and call center operations.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of new Training staff to build a future talent pipeline for succession planning.

  • Required Skills / Abilities

  • Strong management, team-building and change management skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Strong background in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Ability to guide a training team in developing, designing, and creating content in support of leadership's strategic direction.
  • Ability to measure, analyze, and validate the value of programs to the business (data analysis).
  • Proficient at problem solving independently and collaboratively within / across teams.
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Training & Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field.
  • Three plus (3+) years of work-related experience including managing teams.
  • Proficiency of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in managing various learning management systems (Articulate 360 preferred) and software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering multiple phone calls per day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds at times.
  • Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel to outside clinic locations for training purposes.
