Summary

AIM Now Child Care, a 5-Star accredited program in Racine, is looking for a motivated and energetic Lead Teachers . We care for our students, employees and our community. Duties

Position hours are split shift Monday - Friday 515-915am and 2-6pm . We are looking for a full-time or 2 part time employees. Must have an Associate's Degree in education or a Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field, or be level 12 or higher on The WI Registry.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for :

  • Supervision and safety of the children assigned to his / her care
  • Comply with all Department of Children and Family rules and regulations for licensing
  • Assist students, individual or in small groups, with assigned classroom lessons
  • Communicate with parents / guardians via email, telephone and or in-person
  • Implement strategies to guide positive behaviors with ongoing interaction and play
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

We are looking for dependable individuals who :

  • Are a level 12 or higher on The Registry
  • Pass required state background / fingerprint checks
  • Have at least 6 months experience planning and managing a preschool or before / after school classroom
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs, run, sit on the floor, and lift up to 40lbs
  • Possess sound judgement
  • Computer skills
