Now offering a limited-time $8,000 Sign-on Bonus -$3,000 after successful completion of orientation and probation; $2,500 after12 months; $2,500 after 18 months.

Shifts : 40 hours / week working 12-hour shifts(7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM, 8AM8PM, 8PM-8AM. 10AM-10PM) with three shifts one week andfour shifts the next, rotating between day and night shifts and including everyother weekend. Self-scheduling available.

Location : Report in / out of Baltimore, MD (byMedStar Harbor Hospital) or Clinton, MD (by MedStar Southern Maryland HospitalCenter).

Minimum Qualifications :

Graduationfrom high school or Equivalent

NREMTcertification required

CurrentNREMT and State EMT for MD and DC (or ability to obtain DC within 30 days afterhire).

ValidDrivers License

BLSCertification

EVOCcertification

Currentvalid BLS

Primary Responsibilities :

Safelyand efficiently operate ground ambulance while obeying driving laws

InspectAmbulance at the start of each shift to confirm ready for safe use

Maintainprofessional radio communications with MedSTAR Transport and other agencies,adhering to appropriate FCC protocols

Transportpatients to various locations as assigned

Loadand unload patients, medical equipment and passengers from MedSTAR Transportvehicles

Mayassist in the unloading and transportation of patients from othertransportation vehicles
