About The Position
We are seeking a Nephrologist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Rhode Island starting Dec 1, 2025. This leadership opportunity features a flexible, part-time schedule (2 days per week, 8am-6pm) and focuses on launching a new Hemodialysis program within a long-term care setting serving primarily low-acuity patients.

Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the development and launch of the Hemodialysis program / departmentOversee and direct certifications required for nursing staffParticipate in interviewing and hiring support staff for the programProvide clinical care to post-transplant and dialysis patients as neededServe as the sole provider for a predominantly nursing home-level patient population, including individuals with dementia, distal muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injuries, and other low-acuity medical needsCollaborate with administration to customize equipment and support program growthEnsure adherence to facility policies and clinical best practicesAdditional Information
