Performance Excellence Operations Consultant

Join Lee Health as a  Performance Excellence Operations Consultant and help transform patient outcomes and operational performance through data-driven, design-thinking, and Lean / Six Sigma initiatives.

Location & Pay

Lee Health Corporate Center, 4211 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33916

Full-time, Day shift (Hybrid position)

Annual pay range : $92,352 – $120,036.80

What You'll Do

  • Lead system-wide and department-level performance improvement projects aligned with Lee Health's strategic goals.
  • Serve as coach, facilitator, and change agent for operational excellence initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights, Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, and design thinking to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify performance gaps, streamline workflows, and enhance patient and staff experiences.
  • Build trusted partnerships with leaders and staff across all levels of the organization.

What You'll Bring

  • Education : Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Industrial or Systems Engineering, Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration (with quality / operations improvement emphasis), Organizational Development, or a related science field.
  • Experience : At least 2 years in a consultative or performance improvement role with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Change Management, or Sterling / Baldrige Examiner.
  • Skills :

    • Expert facilitation and communication skills (virtual and in-person).

  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.
