Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Tracy, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through clear communication and by being approachable to those on site. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for potential security-related risks and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Document incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
