Title : Project / Program Manager NON IT 3

Duration : 12- months

Location : Mossville, IL (5 days / week onsite)

Pay Range : $40- $42 / hr W2

Summary :

  • The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

    • Taks Breakdown :

  • Control Meetings, gathering tasks from team members, updating project plans, analyzing data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc.).
  • Understand / implement scrum working with team members for continuous improvement, prioritizing work and having an understanding of the customers’ backlog and needs.
  • Be able to take complex information and break It down into smaller, understandable, actionable pieces of work

    • Skills :

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Proficient in computer software, such as MS Suite including Azure DevOps and MS Project.

    • Position Contribution to Work Group :

  • Serve as a project coordinator working with technical leads on projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining Microsoft Project Plans and / or Azure DevOps
  • Coordinating meetings, driving action items, thinking analytically, provide decision support for project owners / product managers.

    • Education / Experience Required :

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of project related experience.
  • Agile / scrum master experience
  • Traditional waterfall project experience
