Title : Project / Program Manager NON IT 3
Duration : 12- months
Location : Mossville, IL (5 days / week onsite)
Pay Range : $40- $42 / hr W2
Summary :
- The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.
Job Responsibilities :
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.Taks Breakdown :
Control Meetings, gathering tasks from team members, updating project plans, analyzing data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc.).Understand / implement scrum working with team members for continuous improvement, prioritizing work and having an understanding of the customers’ backlog and needs.Be able to take complex information and break It down into smaller, understandable, actionable pieces of workSkills :
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.Proficient in computer software, such as MS Suite including Azure DevOps and MS Project.Position Contribution to Work Group :
Serve as a project coordinator working with technical leads on projects.Responsible for maintaining Microsoft Project Plans and / or Azure DevOpsCoordinating meetings, driving action items, thinking analytically, provide decision support for project owners / product managers.Education / Experience Required :
4-year bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of project related experience.Agile / scrum master experienceTraditional waterfall project experience
