Bowden Contracting is a licensed & Insured family-owned company seeking a Commercial Project Superintendent to join our team. We specialize in Concrete, Masonry & Grading, for residential and commercial properties. We need an operator that can take instruction and work independently with safe and efficient practices.

The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of specific goals. They work on assignments with definite outcomes and time limits that must stay within budget.

Responsibilities are to coordinate with different departments to ensure projects are completed with quality and craftsmanship. This includes performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, and scheduling trades. Ultimately, you will work with various teams to monitor project progress and provide oversight to ensure projects are completed promptly and within budget.

• Coordinate internal resources
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Report to management as needed
• Perform risk management and maintain safety compliance
• Schedule trades, material & project
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors
• Address any complaints / issues with sub-contractors & customers
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Oversee good housekeeping on all jobsites
• Keep track of and report on project progress
• Complete invoicing in an efficient and timely manner
• Attend management and safety meetings
• Invoice project within 3 days of job completion
• REQUIRED : Valid NC Driver’s License with clean driving Record
• REQUIRED : 2 Year Construction Experience
• Frequently move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• Operate a computer and other office machinery : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, & Printer
• Periodically will work in outdoor weather conditions supervising laborers.
• Ability to operate a vehicle and drive to multiple jobsites throughout the day.
