Pay Range : $50.00 – $60.00 per hour (depending on experience and capabilities)
Schedule : M-F, Full-Time

Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on CNC Machinist / Programmer to manage day-to-day machining operations including programming, quoting, and team oversight. This is a leadership-level opportunity ideal for a CNC professional with deep experience in both mill and lathe work, who thrives in a technical, high-precision environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring successful production of tight-tolerance, high-value components for critical industries such as aerospace. This role combines leadership, machining expertise, and a drive for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify NC programs for both mill and lathe operations using MasterCAM
- Lead quoting and estimation efforts based on customer RFQs and input from the sales team
- Select tools, feeds, and speeds, and create comprehensive setup sheets to ensure first-article success
- Design custom fixtures and tooling for specialized components and unique geometries
- Guide machinists through setup, operation, and troubleshooting of parts and machines
- Oversee and mentor a small team of machinists to foster growth and maintain high standards
- Maintain configuration control on all electronic files and job documentation
- Review blueprints, GD&T specifications, and support process documentation
- Provide machining and tooling time estimates to support sales quoting
- Support AS9100 audits and ensure compliance with all quality and documentation standards
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other machinists to ensure communication and project accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve output, quality, and repeatability
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shop floor environment at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC Programming using MasterCAM (latest version preferred)Minimum 8 years of hands-on machining experience in both Mill and Lathe operationsProven ability to lead, train, and inspire a small team of machinistsStrong knowledge of G & M codes, blueprint reading, GD&T, and design-for-manufacture principlesExperience with setup sheet creation, feeds / speeds selection, and fixture / tooling designExperience with machining a wide range of materials including Stainless, Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel, and exotic alloysProficiency using precision hand and measuring toolsMust be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent leadership and communication skillsExperience supporting or leading in AS9100-compliant environments a plusCompensation & Benefits
