Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a TN or compact RN license and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a home health setting providing care to patients in their homes
  • Typical caseload is 6-8 patients
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm
  • Rotating weekend coverage required once per month
  • On-call responsibilities scheduled once a week
  • Potential for block scheduling depending on staffing needs
  • Floating may occur in accordance with staff rotation policies
  • Provide home health nursing care and coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Must complete orientation modules during onboarding
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Scheduled holidays may require work per staffing demands
  • Time off requests will be considered based on assignment needs

  • Active TN or compact RN license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year home health or relevant RN experience required
  • Pending licenses not accepted for consideration
  • Locals accepted for this position
