Description :

The unit features 21 beds, 4 recovery rooms, 3 operating room suites, and 4 bed OBED.

The staff consists of a charge nurse, 10-12 RNs, 1-2 OB techs, and a unit secretary during the day shift.

During the night shift, the team includes a charge nurse, 7-9 RNs, 1 OB tech, and a unit secretary / PCT.

Patient ratios adhere to established staffing standards.

Equipment used includes GE fetal monitors, Acumen, JADA, and EMR Meditec and CPN.

There are no on-call requirements for this role.

Occasional floating to the Mother Baby unit or assisting with feeder growers in the NICU may be required.

Candidates should possess a team player mentality, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

This is a Level IV maternity center caring for routine and high-risk obstetric patients.

Flexibility in scheduling is supported, with a requirement to be available for two weekends.

The unit offers an engaging work environment with access to new equipment and technology.

Staff tenure and experience provide a robust support system for new team members.
