As Life Safety Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will be part of a leadership team dedicated to providing world class service to our clients by leading the day-to-day management of the project.

The fire alarm / life safety project manager will manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of project life cycle of multiple and simultaneous projects. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-driven team player responsible for the coordination of all project requirements included but not limited to scope, schedule, procurement, budget, client relations, project management, and contract administration. You will communicate with the project stakeholders, manage risk and monitor progress against the schedule. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for and dedication to getting the job done. You will create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required to achieve the project's goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, schedule, and close out
• Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reports
• Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
• Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs
• Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity
• Supervise and manage project team members; set goals and evaluate performance for team members
• Train and develop direct reports utilizing on the job and internal and external training or development opportunities
• Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project
• Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms
• Participate in proposals and presentations as requested
• Act as the primary contact with the fire alarm vendor in delivery of project
