Position : Maintenance Assistant
Location : Live Oak, Florida
Shift : Full-Time | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Salary : Up to $18 per hour

Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility. This role ensures that residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment every day.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, and more.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Conduct routine inspections and promptly address minor repairs.
Maintain HVAC systems, including regular filter changes.
Support overall facility upkeep to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance.
Hands-on skills in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, flooring, and painting.
Nursing home experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and TELS preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
