Location : Lexington / Louisville, KY
Compensation : $150,000 - $300,000+ with uncapped earning potential (salary + handling bonuses + performance incentives)
Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers is hiring an experienced litigator (insurance defense or Plaintiff's background) to join our team.
You will :
- Support cases valued at high-six, seven, and eight figures and lead a different set of meaningful cases.
- Build and execute individually tailored discovery plans
- Draft winning pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Take and defend depositions (fact, expert, treating, corporate representatives, etc.)
- Prepare witnesses, run the tech, and be an active part of trials
- Get out in the field with experts for inspections, downloads, preservation, etc.
- Negotiate with carriers and defense counsel
- Travel across Kentucky for hearings, depositions, inspections, client meetings, etc.
- Gain access to and learn from national Plaintiff's trucking and trial lawyer groups and networks
- Be given the resources needed to ensure our clients have their cases incredibly well-built
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Bar License (federal admissions also preferred).
- Experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation.

- Adaptability, speed, and the will to grind when the case demands it.
- Grit and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding that this is not a 9 - 5 position.
Compensation and Benefits
- $125,000 - $200,000+ (base salary, defined handling bonuses, and added performance incentives)
