    Location : Lexington / Louisville, KY

    Compensation : $150,000 - $300,000+ with uncapped earning potential (salary + handling bonuses + performance incentives)

    Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers is hiring an experienced litigator (insurance defense or Plaintiff's background) to join our team.

    You will :

    • Support cases valued at high-six, seven, and eight figures and lead a different set of meaningful cases.
    • Build and execute individually tailored discovery plans
    • Draft winning pleadings, motions, and briefs
    • Take and defend depositions (fact, expert, treating, corporate representatives, etc.)
    • Prepare witnesses, run the tech, and be an active part of trials
    • Get out in the field with experts for inspections, downloads, preservation, etc.
    • Negotiate with carriers and defense counsel
    • Travel across Kentucky for hearings, depositions, inspections, client meetings, etc.
    • Gain access to and learn from national Plaintiff's trucking and trial lawyer groups and networks
    • Be given the resources needed to ensure our clients have their cases incredibly well-built
    • Requirements

    • Active Kentucky Bar License (federal admissions also preferred).
    • Experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation.
    • Competitive fire. We must do everything in our power to win for our clients.

    • Flexibility. Litigating and winning important cases isn't a standard 9-to-5 job.

    • Eagerness to learn. We're consistently traveling to meet with and hear from some of the best in the country.
    • Confidence and comfort in depositions, courtroom arguments, and high-pressure settings.
    • Understanding and experience with preserving and acquiring ESI and other forensic evidence.
    • Relentless ownership of results. No excuses.
    • Adaptability, speed, and the will to grind when the case demands it.
    • Grit and a strong work ethic.
    • Understanding that this is not a 9 - 5 position.
    • Compensation and Benefits

    • $125,000 - $200,000+ (base salary, defined handling bonuses, and added performance incentives)
