Production Manager
Under the direction of the Director, Marketing Services, the Manager, Production is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the final delivery of creative projects, including output / printing, billing, delivery, and installation. In addition, this role manages a multi-property budget exceeding $12 million, leading vendor negotiations, bidding processes, and cost efficiencies across the enterprise. The Production Manager oversees the workflow of a team that handles more than 7,500 projects per year, which are trafficked to production partners and media companies for timely delivery.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Directs the end-to-end workflow and production of all finalized marketing creative, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across multiple channels. Assigns tasks, establishes priorities, and manages schedules to meet tight deadlines and evolving project needs.
- Manages a team responsible for processing over 7,500 creative requests annually from multiple key stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Partners with external vendors to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery of all marketing materials across print, digital, and on-property channels. Fosters strong vendor relationships, monitors budget, and identifies opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality and timeliness across all deliverables.
- Manages cloud storage for the department and serves as an administrator for department software and project management tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required.Minimum three (3) years of marketing production, print production, or marketing project management experience required.Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience required.Related, relevant, and / or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA)
Advertising agency and / or in-house agency experience preferred.Must have working knowledge of Macintosh computers and popular graphics industry software including but not limited to : Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite and similar programs. Must be proficient at Workfront or similar project management software utilized by the department.Must be able to maximize input and output devices such as scanners, printers and other peripherals and send / receive materials via the internet.Must have excellent project management and communication skills.Must be able to manage a team effectively and be able to proactively problem solve, provide guidance and direction to their team, and appropriately coach their team when needed.Licenses, Certifications And Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.No Driving Responsibilities : Role does not require a drivers license or insurance.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Environment
Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled casino and office setting.Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and / or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.Sedentary work : involves sitting most of the time.
