Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology unit within a hospital setting Potential to float to the cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) unit as required Shifts are 4x10 hour days, Monday through Friday, with a variable day off One day of call per week and one weekend of call every six weeks is required Call responsibilities are limited to weekends and specific call shifts Floating will occur within the facility and the technologist's scope of practice Clinical screening may be required to assess fit for the unit Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year if previously employed there, before returning as a traveler Locals are accepted at the same rate Holiday work is required if holidays fall within the assignment period; no holiday RTO may be requested except in rare situations per holiday policy Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed per assignment, and not permitted in first week No blocked scheduling permitted Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift in the same unit Non-billable orientation and required modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts Requirements Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology experience required GA or Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable First-time travelers are eligible Must provide two supervisory references (manager level or above) Ability to complete and schedule required compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609302.
