Position : Seasonal Meatal Production Associate

Location : Lafayette, LA (On-site)

Department : Metal Production

Seasonal Metal Production Associates are cross-trained to assist in both metal hanging (prepping products for powder coating and curing) and metal checking (inspecting finished products for quality and order accuracy). Training may begin with reduced hours, with schedules expanding as production ramps up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hang metal signs by size and color for powder coating and curing.
  • Run multiple hanging stations and assist with daily production line prep.
  • Inspect finished metal signs for quality, accuracy, and damage.
  • Match completed products with their packing slips.
  • Separate and organize metal signs by size and color on racks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
  • Work as part of a collaborative production team—while your primary role is woodworking, all employees may assist in other departments as seasonal demand requires.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

    • Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred.

    • Seasonal Schedules

  • Employment runs early–mid October through mid-December (exact dates depend on production volume).
  • Training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am – 4 : 00 pm

    • Training schedules may begin with reduced hours until the season fully ramps up.

  • Our production schedule is scaled with holiday demand. Your preference for day and night shifts is used when assigning shifts as the season progresses.

    16 / 5 (Mon–Fri)

    Shift A : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

  • Shift B : 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM
  • 24 / 5 (Mon–Fri)

    • Shift A : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

  • Shift B : 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM
  • Shift C : 12 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM
