We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Maple Grove, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and analyzing financial data to support critical business decisions. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting tasks and contribute directly to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed research and analysis of accounting data to support management with accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act by establishing and monitoring internal controls.
• Manage inventory recording procedures and perform periodic reviews of the inventory subledger.
• Prepare and record intercompany eliminations and lease accounting adjustments.
• Collaborate with external auditors, providing schedules and documentation for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Apply GAAP standards in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
• Assist in understanding and analyzing month-end results, providing variance explanations and actionable insights.
• Document processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Generate ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Ability to apply GAAP principles effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
