About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Care Practitioner

Profession : Cardiopulmonary

Shift : Six days on 12-hour shifts, 8 days off

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 0 years

License : Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner

Certifications : Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

Must-Have : Knowledge and competence in respiratory therapy techniques for all patient age groups

Description :

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy.

This includes cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas monitoring.

The practitioner must demonstrate knowledge and competence in the treatment of neonates, infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

This falls within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department.
