Responsibilities Main Operating Room setting serving adult and geriatric patients Covers general, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, and colorectal cases 16 OR rooms with an average daily census of 35 Uses Epic, Pyxis, and two DaVinci XI robots Day shift with four 10-hour shifts from 10 : 00 to 20 : 30 Weekend coverage includes an average of 2–3 shifts per contract and 1 weekend call Rare floating to other units On-call requirement is 7–8 calls per 8-week period, including 1 weekend call and 1–2 weekend shifts Responsible for circulating and scrubbing across multiple surgical specialties Facility provides required scrubs Must be available to work up to 7 days of requested time off; no RTO during the first week of assignment and none during Spring Break Expected to work one or more major holidays if they fall during the assignment based on outlined holiday rules Compliance with all pre-employment requirements is mandatory for timely start, with orientation schedules occurring bi-weekly Return travelers unable to return to one location must complete an assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift and unit No blocked scheduling is allowed Locals are accepted at the same rate First-time travelers are eligible for consideration Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience Experience circulating and scrubbing in the OR required Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and DaVinci XI robots preferred Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or above Perm or PRN employees must have a one-year break from all Piedmont facilities before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626188.
