Overview of Position :
Assist Product Development team & partner with Design to coordinate & monitor the development, management, & execution of all activities involved in Earthbound Brands; specifically, Better Homes & Gardens, and The Pioneer Woman at Walmart Stores.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a great attitude, can manage complexity and competing deadlines while staying one step ahead.
Job Functions :
Post Order Process : Primary responsibility for managing, communicating, & tracking all details from post commits to production.Manage product lifecycle development : item tracking logs, testing reports, database management.Attend key milestone meetings : Preparation & capturing details of meeting activities (starting with definition).Supplier Communication : Assist in supplier communication when necessary.Responsibilities :
Post Order Process :Create / manage item tracking logs following commitments & send post commitment letters to suppliers.
Maintain item tracking logs throughout the entire approval process.Review and communicate aesthetic approvals for items across multiple departments (i.e., color, aesthetic, print strike-offs, handlooms, graphics, trims, embellishments, material, & placement).Facilitate resolution of approval failures : component aesthetics, color, fabric or UL LD & shade band failures in partnership with technical services.Review packaging files for accuracy (i.e., VSNs, dimensions, color name, general format).Manage Product Lifecycle Development :Managing VSN / style numbers and detailing item tracking logs for seasonal SKUs in development.
Attend Key Milestone Meetings :Assist Product Development Manager in the assembly of all meeting materials (pin boards, print collateral, etc.).
Swatch seasonal color cards.Physically assist in transport and set-up in all facets of milestone meetings / Walmart presentations.Supplier Communication :Post commitment letters & approval follow up.
Assist as secondary contact in daily communication to the Product Development Manager or in the absence of the Product Development Manager.Manage Sample Request :Agency and in house photography, marketing, & editorial requests.
Walmart sample & marketing requests.Assist Product Development Team in review and analysis of sales performance for categories.Job Requirements :
