Quoting Manager

The Quoting Manager is responsible for managing the people, processes, and platforms that support accurate and efficient quoting for engine and machine products. The Manager will serve as a key liaison in strategy discussions, collaborate with internal stakeholders and Caterpillar (CAT), and drive continuous improvement in quoting systems and standard job processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead, develop and manage the Quoting and Standard Jobs teams, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Lead quoting and standard job operations for engine and machine product support, driving efficiency and consistency across the team.
• Ensure standardized, documented templates and processes are developed, maintained, and continuously improved.
• Represent the team in cross-functional strategy and planning meetings.
• Partner with internal service groups and CAT to align on key initiatives that improve quoting accuracy and service delivery.
• Work with IT team to support and enhance quoting platforms.
• Establish and maintain quality control processes for standard jobs and quoting workflows.
• Monitor quoting performance and accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support quoting decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Deliver regular reports on team performance, metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
• Supervise quoting and standard jobs team. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
